Order and delay
Choose the order apps open in, remove apps, and set the wait between and after apps.

FluidZones opens the apps of a profile one by one, in the order of the list.
Change the order#
Press and hold a row in Launch Sequence, drag it up or down and drop it where you want it. The order is saved automatically.
Remove an app#
Press the × on the row. The app only leaves this profile's sequence; it is not uninstalled.
Delay between apps#
- At the bottom of Launch Sequence, find the Delay field.
- Type a number of seconds, from 0 to 30. It saves right away.
With 0, every app opens at the same time. With any higher value, each app opens after the previous one, which helps slow apps finish loading. The same delay applies to all profiles.
Delay before placing one app#
Some apps open their window late. On a row that has a layout, the timer button lets you wait before FluidZones starts placing that window: No delay, +1s, +2s, +3s, +5s, +8s or +10s. When one is set, the row shows it, for example +3s.
Tips and limits#
- Start with a small delay (2 or 3 seconds) if a heavy app lands in the wrong place.
- The launch progress window shows the countdown while it waits.
