Quick start

Create your first profile and launch it in about three minutes.

A profile is a set of apps and where each window goes. This is the shortest path from zero to one click.

  1. In the Profiles sidebar, press + New Profile (or ⌘N). Type a name such as "Morning" and press Create Profile.
  2. In the middle column, find an app with Search apps… and click it, or drag it into Launch Sequence on the right. Repeat for each app you want.
  3. On each row in Launch Sequence, open the layout picker and choose where that window should go, for example Left or Right.
  4. Press Launch Scene. FluidZones opens the apps in order and moves each window into place.

Tips and limits#

  • The free plan includes up to 3 profiles.
  • Apps need to be in /Applications, /System/Applications or ~/Applications.
  • If windows open but do not move, check the Accessibility permission.
