Keyboard shortcuts
Give each profile a global shortcut to launch it from any app.

A profile shortcut launches it without opening FluidZones or switching windows.
Set a shortcut#
- In the sidebar, click the shortcut control on the profile's row (you can also record one when you create the profile).
- Press the key combination you want, for example ⌘⇧1. Include a modifier key.
- If it is already taken, a warning tells you by which profile or system shortcut. Choose another one.
To clear it, use Remove shortcut.
Use it#
From any app, press the combination. The profile launches in the background.
Tips and limits#
- FluidZones checks for conflicts with your other profiles and with reserved macOS shortcuts.
- Shortcuts only work while another app is in front if FluidZones has the Accessibility permission.
- A duplicated profile does not inherit the shortcut.
