Install and allow Accessibility

Install FluidZones on your Mac and give it the one permission it needs to place windows.

On this page

FluidZones runs on macOS 15 or later. It needs one permission, Accessibility, to move windows into their zones.

Install#

  1. Download FluidZones from the website and open the downloaded file.
  2. Drag FluidZones into your Applications folder and open it.

Allow Accessibility#

The first time you open the app, the Welcome to FluidZones window explains why it needs this permission.

  1. Press Grant Access. macOS asks for permission.
  2. In System Settings, turn on FluidZones in the Accessibility list. You can press the System Settings button in the window to get there.
  3. Back in FluidZones, the window shows Access Granted. Press Done.

Tips and limits#

  • The same window offers a free 14-day Premium trial and a link if you already have a code. See Free vs Premium.
  • If windows are not being placed after an update, check the permission again: Troubleshooting.
