Privacy Policy
FluidZones is built with privacy as a default, not an afterthought. This page explains exactly what data we collect, why, and how.
What the app collects
FluidZones stores all your profiles, preferences, and window data locally on your Mac at ~/Library/Application Support/fluidzones/data.json. The app makes no network requests of its own — it only launches apps through macOS APIs.
License activation
If you purchase a Premium license, activating it sends your license key and an anonymous machine identifier (a hash of your user data path) to our license server. We store this to enforce the 2-machine limit. We do not store your name, IP address, or any other personal data beyond what LemonSqueezy collects at purchase time.
Free trial
If you start a free trial, we store your email address and an anonymous trial code to activate Premium features. We use this to send you trial reminders and to prevent abuse. You can unsubscribe at any time.
What we do not collect
No usage analytics. No crash reports. No cookies. No tracking pixels. No third-party SDKs in the app.
Data retention
License data is retained as long as your license is active. Trial emails are retained until you unsubscribe. You may request deletion at any time by emailing us.
